El Dragon is a Spanish language drama series. It aired on September 30, 2019 on Univision. Arturo Perez-Reverte created the series. It was directed by Carlos Cock Marin, Mauricio Castro Fortunato, and Alvaro Curiel De Icaza. El Dragon stars some famous Spanish celebrities. These include Sebastian Rulli, Renata Notni, Irina Baeva, Alejandro Avila as primary roles. It’s a story of great suspense and crime. El Dragon secured 6.8 out of 10 on IMDb.
El Dragon Ending Explained
El Dragon season 1 is set in Ciudad Jiménez (México). It talks about Miguel’s parents. Roberto Garza and Lucia Garza who died in an attack. Miguel, his sister and brother made it out unharmed. The capo Lamberto in Gaza sends Miguel abroad.
Lamberto guarded his grandchildren and helped Miguel become a successful businessman. He also keeps Chisca (played by Cassandra Sanchez Navarro) with him. He keeps him at his ranch. There, he runs the largest drug operating distribution.
The show leaps forward 20 years. Miguel now lives with Asya, his long-term girlfriend. He is also a successful entrepreneur. The plot turns big when his grandmother Dora Lamberto calls him. She tells him that he must go to Mexico immediately because of a death-or-life situation.
Miguel discovers that his grandfather is suffering from Alzheimer. This leaves him mentally and physically weak. Lamberto informs Miguel shortly thereafter that he must take care of his family’s businesses. Miguel only has 24 hours to decide whether he wants to run the cartel business or not.
Miguel isn’t complaining about being in charge of his family’s drug cartel. He fulfills the wish of his grandfather, who is now a happy man. Miguel does not want to appear like he is selling drugs. He struggles with this dangerous and controversial position within the cartel.
Miguel believes he can transform his family’s illegal drug cartel into something that’s not violent and doesn’t have a bad name. He is ambitious. He wants to make a lot of money. Miguel invests it in legal ways to make money.
Asya, Miguel’s wife, discovers she has a deadly illness. And she decides to kill herself. This is a tragic turn in the story. Miguel is broken and closes his eyes.
Miguel meets Adela, played by Renata Noni. At this point, he is sad and cold. She is a taxi driver and has a charming, kind personality. Adela is the second woman to try to get to know Miguel after Asya. She isn’t easily influenced by his wealth or power. Adela encourages Miguel to examine himself. We all know Miguel is a narcissistic megalomaniac. Adela helps him accept his positive qualities.
Miguel must survive in the mafia’s dark world. This is neither romantic nor sad. Miguel uses the skills he acquired in Japan. As a samurai fighter and yakuza, he tries to survive the first and second seasons. These skills are used to defeat the other Mafia bosses.
In El Dragon season 3, he’s likely to face very many difficulties. We may expect to see many Russians and Italians offering illegal work opportunities for him. Miguel will fight for his position, and he will fulfill it regardless.
