While some members try to just show their best sides as BTS members, others express themselves with more confidence as artists. When it was V’s turn to respond, he was unable to come up with a response that would highlight the distinctions or parallels between his two personas. Nearly three years later, V disclosed that the theme of “Singularity” is his inner conflict over his many identities. He was unsure of his own identity and thought he could only select one aspect of himself. That’s when he said he doesn’t really know about the change in him over the years. However, he has now accepted both of his identities and allowed them to cohabit in his “Proof of Inspiration” video. He has two sides to himself: one is an idol who enjoys himself with his followers, and the other is a regular guy who goes about his daily business.
