The Chosen is an American historical drama TV series that debuted on December 24, 2017. The series is streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Peacock, Tubi TV, VidAngel, and Pure Flix. Created, directed and co-written by American filmmaker Dallas Jenkins, the storyline “focuses more deeply on the people who encountered Jesus and to show Jesus “through the eyes of those who met him”, in a way that is more “personal, intimate, immediate.”
It stars Shahar Isaac, Jonathan Roumie, Elizabeth Tabish, Paras Patel, Noah James, Janis Dardaris, Lara Silva, Shaan Sharma, Nick Shakoour, George H. Xanthis, Shayan Sobhian, Erick Avari, Kian Kavousi, Brandon Potter, and Kirk B. R. Woller as the star cast of the series.
The series is produced by Chad Gundersen, Justin Tolley, and Chris Juen alongside Derral Eves, Matthew Faraci, Dallas Jenkins, Ryan Swanson, and Tyler Thompson.
